Daily Schedule

Below you will find a basic schedule for our classrooms, it is subject to change depending on the needs of the children.

7:00-9:00          Arrival time/Gym play time

9:00-10:00       Circle time/group activities 

10:00-10:30     Snack time

10:30-11:15     Fine motor activities (math, name work, letters...)

11:15-11:45     Exploration time (science, creative cooking, sensory...)

11:45-12:30     Lunch time

12:30-1:00       Story time (transition to quiet time)

1:00-2:30          Quiet time

2:30-2:45          Afternoon snack

2:45-3:45          Art time (daily craft, painting, open ended art & more)

3:45-5:30         Gross motor (indoor/outdoor play)

                              Staggered departures & Goodbyes 

During your child's stay s/he will be invited to take part in many different activities, (but never forced to participate) these activities include: Sensory Experience - water, sand, playdough, and messy
Dramatic Experience - Housekeeping, puppets, dress up, circle time, etc.
Cognitive Experience- Puzzles, matching games, games
Quiet Experience - Books, records, tapes, story-telling, etc.
Construction/Block Play - Large block building, small blocks, floor toys, Lego,
trucks and car play, etc.
Circle Time- we will go over the weather, introduce the theme or activities planned for the day. We will do singing, dancing, exercise, story-telling, games, etc.
Gross Motor - Indoor and Outdoor (climbing, running, jumping and riding, etc.)Science Experience - Games with magnets, magnifying glass, planting seeds, nature
study, etc.
